Dr Mohammed Santuraki is a past Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Agriculture Limited, where he led the rebranding and strategic repositioning of the institution into a more impactful, visible and financially sustainable development finance institution.

 

He is owner of Majigi Agro Limited and Impetro Consulting Limited. Majigi is a total agricultural value chain enterprise involved in agricultural production, processing and domestic/export marketing of agricultural commodities. Majigi operates an integrated mechanized farm. Impetro Consulting is  a management consultancy that focuses on Training & Development, Business Consulting and Employee Assessments & Surveys. Our firm is a Strategic Business Partner of 360Sultions LLC, a US based, international organization with over 500 strategic partners in the US, and 20 other countries. It is one of the leading providers of high quality employee, management, and leadership training in the market today. In addition, Santuraki is currently the Pro-chancellor & Chairman of Governing Council of Ibrahim Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State University.

 

 

 Santuraki has wide ranging, hands-on, experience in managing, leading and turning around companies in both private and public sectors. He is a seasoned banker with diversified experience in Nigeria’s financial services sector ranging from agricultural development finance through investment/commercial banking to mortgage banking. Earlier in his career, Santuraki was the Managing Director/CEO of FBN Mortgages Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of First Bank of Nigeria Plc., where he led the re-launch and rapid growth of the company into profitability. His earlier career positions include Deputy General Manager at First Bank of Nigeria, Senior Manager at Guaranty Trust Bank, and Programmes Manager at The British Council in Nigeria.

 

Santuraki has a DVM (Veterinary Medicine) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an MBA (Accounting & Finance) from University of Ibadan. He has attended various top executive and leadership programs, including those of Lee Kuan yew School of Public Policy, MIT Sloan Executive Education, Said Business School (University of Oxford), Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Kellogg Executive Programs’ (Northwestern University), IMD Lausanne, Switzerland, Stanford Graduate School of Business and Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, United States. He is also an Oxford Business Alumni, and also an alumnus of Lagos Business School, where he was on Chief Executive’s Programme-17 (CEP-17).

 

Dr. Santuraki is a Honorary Senior Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Fellow, Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), Institute of Directors, Nigeria (MIoD), immediate past Chairman, Association of Nigerian Development Finance Institutions; and a former National Vice President of Mortgage Banker’s Association of Nigeria (MBAN).

He is the Deputy President, Niger State Scouts Council. Mohammed is a prominent prince from Bida, Niger state, where he holds the traditional title of Santuraki Nupe. To support the development of Niger state, Santuraki is currently, a member of Niger State Financial Management committee, and Chairman of Niger State Abattoir Development and also that of Implementation Committee under the current Administration. He is the benefactor of Nnagi Salima Foundation (NSF).​
